About the Wild Ginger Hotel
The hotel is nestled in Downtown Hilo, canopied by ancient trees and caressed by ocean breezes. It is a setting made for total convenience as most venues in Hilo are a simple walking distance from the hotel grounds.
Built in time that predated Hawaiian statehood, the Wild Ginger hotel is a must do for an authentic experience. Constructing in 1911 and largely untouched since then, guest won’t find many modern resort amenities here, but a unique Hawaiian accommodation experience long erased from the Island.
